About

Because of the transnational character of modern data processing and electronic commerce, the global access to creative content, and the rapid worldwide spread of innovations, this LL.M. Program has been developed with distinct international orientation. Courses and workshops provide comparative overview of how their subjects are regulated by major legal systems, of the international legal framework and of the legal issues of transborder enforcement. The Program’s international character is also reflected in the multinational composition of its student body, which ensures direct personal exchange of knowledge, experience and ideas from various parts of the world.

Besides the Program’s international character, strong emphasis is placed on establishing the direct link to practice. Many classes are taught by experienced attorneys and other practitioners. In lectures and seminars, legal issues are examined largely through analyzing real court cases, identifying concrete common problems and searching for effective solutions to them. Through hands-on workshops and projects, newly acquired knowledge is further enhanced and developed into readily applicable practical skills.
