About
With an outstanding faculty including first class scholars and practitioners of international law, among them arbitrators as well as former members of the UN’s International Law Commission, Vienna’s LL.M. in International Legal Studies uniquely combines two core areas of international economic law: Trade and Investment. These areas reflect the growing importance of international trade and investment law, in particular the dispute settlement mechanisms under the WTO as well as investment arbitration. Current problems and development trends are identified and analyzed within the framework of four modules (Fundamental Issues of International Law, International Economic Law, International Organizations and International Dispute Settlement).
