What the school says:

About

Established in 1984, the Graduate Program in Banking and Financial Law was the first graduate program in the United States to devote itself entirely to the study of the field of banking and financial services law. Although some institutions may have followed suit, the Graduate Program is unique in many respects.

Unlike other programs consisting of a selection of regular law school courses, this program is designed specifically for students who wish to obtain a graduate-level legal education in the field of financial services law. With few exceptions, the faculty of the Program consists of industry practitioners who are dedicated to sharing the wealth of their experience. Our 1,300 plus global alumni form a cohesive professional network that is unmatched.

Domestic and international students are welcome and may attend the Graduate Program on a full- or part-time basis (some international students may be required to enroll on a full-time basis). All students benefit from the rich menu of activities that are taking place within the Graduate Program. For example, new students are encouraged to apply to become part of the staff of the Review of Banking & Financial Law, a student-run journal celebrating over 25 years of continuous publication.
