About

The Master of Laws (LL.M.) program is designed for international attorneys, judges, government officials, prosecutors, corporate legal counsel, bankers, and recent law graduates who are interested in receiving a degree in American law, and the U.S. legal system, and prepares them for leadership roles in the global market. Through the LL.M. Program, foreign lawyers have a chance to meet and interact not only with the faculty and J.D. students, but also with practicing lawyers from around the world.

Unlike many programs where you may get "lost in the crowd", we are committed to making your USC experience the best that it can be. Our Graduate and International Programs (G&IP) office at USC Law is here to serve you. We provide end-to-end service from admissions to orientation and registration for your classes. You will see that life in Los Angeles can be a lot of fun! We host many social events that bring our student community of LL.M., M.C.L. and J.D. students together throughout the year. Our J.D.-LL.M. Partnership Program is immensely popular and one of a kind.

At USC, we understand that coming to the U.S. to study can be quite challenging and we want you to "feel at home". USC also has the largest number of international students of any university in the U.S. and our Office of International Services is a great resource for our students as they assist with immigration needs and issues and provide a wealth of information on studying in the U.S.
