New grant offered for University of Alicante, Spain, LLM in Industrial and Intellectual Property and Information Society Law

The Magister Lvcentinvs of the University of Alicante and the Spanish Patent and Trade Mark Office offer a new grant for the the University´s Master‘s Degree in Industrial and Intellectual Property and Information Society Law from 2009.

The grant will cover half of the registration fee for the academic year 2009 / 2010.

Applicants must:
- Hold a bachelor‘s degree (or equivalent qualification) in a subject related to Industrial and Intellectual Property, such as Law, Engineering, Science, or Economics. The degree must be held admissible according to the rules of the University of Alicante.

- Have applied to study the Master‘s course and have provided the minimum documentation required for their candidacy to be assessed.

- Have been admitted or, in the case of pending applications, comply with the academic Requirements for admission to the Magister Lvcentinvs LLM course (the award of the grant will be subject to definitive admission to the master course.)

According to the University, the committee constituted to award the grants will place special emphasis on the capacity of the candidates to disseminate the knowledge they will obtain from their studies in academic forums and Industrial and Intellectual Property centres.

Application deadline for this newly established grant is May 31, 2009.
The grants will be awarded by the 15th of June 2009.
