University of Lyon 3, France, introduces eight new courses on LLM in International and European Law and Diploma programs

The Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, France, announced to launch eight new courses on the School´s LLM in International and European Law and Diploma Programs:

International Environmental Law, International Commercial Arbitration, International Criminal Law, Women in Law on Screen, European Banking Law, Comparative Legal History, International Labour Law and Internet and Digital Copyright Law

Here is what the Institution says:

An innovative course entitled Women in Law on Screen, will be delivered by Professor Orit Kamir, who has written over six textbooks on women and their position in the law, including “Framed: Women in Law and Film” published by Duke University Press.
Visiting professor at the University of Michigan and Professor of law at the Hebrew University, she is also the co-founder and co-director of the Israeli Center for Human Dignity.
This year will see the release of her article on Michael Clayton, entitled “Michael Clayton: Hollywood's Contemporary Hero-Lawyer: Beyond 'Outsider Within' and 'Insider Without’” (Suffolk University Law Review).

The eminent environmental law expert and attorney, Professor Richard Laster will be teaching International Environmental Law. Visiting from the Hebrew University, Professor Laster is the author and co -author of many textbooks on this subject matter, including the “International Encyclopedia of Laws” (Kluwer Law International).

Legal Advisor for the European Banking Federation, Mr Elie Beyrouthy will teach European Banking Law, whilst Professor Youseph Farah (University of Essex) expert on ADR and E-Commerce will deliver a course on International Commercial Arbitration.

Yaron Gottlieb, Legal Advisor at Interpol, will deliver his course entitled Protection of Cultural Property in International Law, for the second year running. A graduate of New York University Law School and formerly of Cardozo School of Law – Human Rights and Genocide Prevention Clinic, Mr Gottlieb specializes in public international law, including regionalization in international organizations and extradition law.
