University of Cambridge, UK, announces new scholarship for Indian LLM students

The University of Cambridge, UK, announced the establishment of the Prathiba M Singh Cambridge Scholarship. This scholarship will enable talented Indian students to study for the LLM program in Cambridge.

Eligible students for the scholarship will be those who show a strong interest in Intellectual Property Law and who intend to pursue a legal career in India.

In 1992 Prathiba Singh took a Master of Law degree at the University of Cambridge, and she now wishes other Indian students to have the same opportunity. She is now the Managing Partner of Singh & Singh Law Firm in New Delhi. A substantial part of the company's work consists of Intellectual Property disputes, but it is also one of the leading firms dealing with issues related to Telecommunications.
