What the school says:
About
This degree is run jointly between the Law School and the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion. For this degree, the students will take two core modules, and a further three optional modules. Students must take at least two taught modules from each of the departments. A student is awarded either an LLM or an MA degree dependent on the weighting of law and politics courses studied. A major factor will be the department responsible for the supervision of the final dissertation. However, if the weightings are equal and a specific award is not clearly defined, the individual student will be consulted as to which degree is awarded.
