About

The MA/LLM in Religion, Law and Society is a new course hosted by Westminster Law School in cooperation with other departments within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) and with the School of Media Art and Design (MAD). The course focuses on contemporary issues within Law and Religion and takes a multidisciplinary approach which combines law with sociology, politics and media studies.

The course is aimed at anyone with an interest in the relevance of religion in contemporary society. Students can design their degree to suit their needs with a number of pathways available: Socio-legal studies, Politics and Media.
The course is ideal for graduates from the social sciences including law, history, sociology and media studies.

The course is designed for graduates who want to be equipped with the skills needed to tackle the challenge posed by religion in modern pluralist states.
