About

This pathway in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law is part of the Derby LLM programme.

It examines intellectual property and aspects of information law thematically, covering data protection, information handling, e-commerce and intellectual property in the global digital economy. You will look at the protection afforded by international agreements on intellectual property and their impact on commercial activity. You’ll also examine the legal principles and procedures relating to ownership, use and control of information in the context of the internet and other media.

We’re one of the few universities in the UK where you can spend time in a professional organisation during the Clinic module to apply what you’re learning. This gives you an opportunity to explore areas of personal interest in greater depth than is usually possible at this level of study.

Please note - UK and EU students fees are £495 per module (you will usually study nine of these) . International student fees are £10955 for the entire course.
