What the school says:

About

Our LLM programme offers highly flexible content available to both lawyers and non-lawyers. It aims to develop a unique specialisation that gives you a distinct advantage when applying for positions within and beyond the legal sector.

We can advance your knowledge, if you’re already in employment, in areas relating directly to your work role and career development plans. It will also provide you with a springboard to MPhil or PhD research and a rewarding academic career.

The Derby LLM has been carefully designed, through the development of specialist pathways and modules, to build a degree that matches your career aspirations, research pursuits and personal interests. In addition, we’ve worked closely with the legal professions, judiciary, prosecution service and police to design our LLM to meet the demands of the 21st century.

The course is made up of three stages; Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma and LLM. On completion of the Postgraduate Certificate stage, you can choose to follow one of our specialist pathways in:

Commercial Law
Corporate and Financial Law
Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law
International and Comparative Law
Transnational Criminal Law
International Protection of Human Rights and Personal Freedom

Please note - UK and EU students fees are £495 per module (you will usually study nine of these) . International student fees are £10955 for the entire course.
