About
If you are a solicitor working in areas involving corporate law and finance or if you work in the legal department of a company, this course is ideal for you. You will examine the structures and constitution of corporate entities and contrast this with the external factors that govern their liquidity and capitalisation. You'll receive a holistic view of how law assists in mediating corporate and financial risk.
The core modules of Company Law and International Banking and Finance Law will provide you with a solid foundation, with opportunities for study and research of significant breadth and depth. Option modules allow you to tailor your studies to your areas of personal interest or your career aspirations.
You can select your modules to focus on a corporate, financial, commercial or international theme or alternatively, select a range to provide a broader appreciation.
Throughout the LLM you will address subjects from an international perspective and be able to relate coursework and assignments to different jurisdictions. The course is made up of three stages: Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma and LLM and you can choose to study full time or part time.
Please note - UK and EU students fees are £495 per module (you will usually study nine of these). International student fees are £10955 for the entire course.
